Disney has done it again in the box office with Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” which raked in a whopping $250-million this weekend. The studio out did its own “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which garnered $247.96-million in its opening weekend.
It's safe to say they’ve beaten their own record and have smashed box office records once again. The studio had originally intended to release the movie domestically on May 4th, but bumped the release up to April 27th, which proved to be a good choice. “Deadline” predicts the movie will keep the number one spot all the way up until “Deadpool 2” releases on May 18th.
“A Quiet Place” is still hanging on in the box office at number two, while “I Feel Pretty” sits at number three. Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams’“Disobedience” is not to be overlooked after drawing $241-thousand between five New York and Los Angeles Theaters making it the second best opening average for a non-major studio title.
