5G Service Is Now A National Security Priority

5G

The newly released National Security Report has a mention of 5G wireless technology in it. The report is mandated by Congress, and was made public earlier this week by the White House. It’s viewed as mandatory for the nation’s infrastructure to deploy “secure 5G internet capability nationwide.” In the report, the only other national security “priority” that was singled out was natural gas. Verizon’s already announced that five U.S. cities will get 5G in the coming year, with it expanding after that. Surely, things will speed up once various “technical obstacle” get taken out of the equation. Source: Uber Gizmo
