Sonic Workers Are Arrested For Lacing A Children’s Burger With Ecstasy

Sonic Workers Are Arrested For Lacing A Children’s Burger With Ecstasy - Charges are being filed in Texas against some fast food workers after drugs were uncovered in a kid's burger.

Officials in Taylor say three Sonic Drive-In employees, one of them the manager, were taken into custody last week when an ecstasy pill was found in a burger. An eleven-year-old girl unwrapped the food for her younger brother and asked her parents if it was candy. The parents took the meal to police, a field test for ecstasy came back positive, and officers went to the fast food place.

Taylor Police say they found pot on one employee and the manager with outstanding warrant from a parole violation. Another employee that was detained had four active warrants for arrest. Officers are still investigating.
