Slipknot/Stone Sour's Corey Taylor plans solo album

Corey Taylor has confirmed that he will start work on his debut solo album for a tentative 2021 release.

The SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR frontman says he’s plenty happy with both of his bands but says he’s feeling like, “If I don't do it now, I'm never gonna do it.' So, yeah, probably 2021. I'm actually putting a band together. I've already told the guys in STONE SOUR and SLIPKNOT that I'm doing it, just out of respect. And, yeah, I'm gonna start working on a solo album. That's all I'll give you for now. But, yeah, that's the plan as of right now. I'm very fulfilled by the music that I get to make with both bands. Is there a solo album in me? Yes. But it's not gonna be for a few more years.

All this solo stuff will have to wait, though - Corey and the rest of SLIPKNOT are continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "We Are Not Your Kind", which came out earlier this month.
